The agreement states EPA will decide by Sept. 30 on whether to begin drafting regulations for treated seeds or reject the environmental groups' demands.
Wednesday, July 6, 2022 10:33AM CDT The National Weather Service on Tuesday classified a storm that hit South Dakota, Iowa and southern Minnesota Tuesday evening as a derecho. South Dakota weather stations reported winds reached as high as 99 mph around Howard, South Dakota, northwest of Sioux Falls. Winds across parts of Iowa hit 80 mph, though the storm weakened as it reached the eastern edge of Iowa.
Friday, July 1, 2022 2:01PM CDT Tar spot was identified in a Marshall County, Iowa, corn field this week, prompting an Iowa State University plant pathologist to urge farmers to begin scouting.
